Who can use Task U
Anyone may browse Task U. Posting and earning require personal Google login and current miami.edu semester verification. Taskers must be 18 or older. Task U is an independent student marketplace. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the University of Miami.
Accounts
Use personal Google for your account, then verify your miami.edu Google account each semester. Maintain one account per student. Receipts and notifications go to your personal email, never your school email.
Posting and claiming tasks
Describe tasks honestly and set clear expectations. Quick tasks use a fixed poster-set price; bigger jobs use offers with a price and ETA. Only claim work you can complete.
Payments and fees
Posters pay the task price plus a 12% service fee shown before posting. No card is charged yet. Payments open soon; all prices and fees are shown before posting. Taskers keep 100% of the task price plus tips. Keep all payments in the app.
Cancellations
Cancellation is free before a task is claimed. After a claim, the cancellation policy shown at posting applies. Final cancellation and dispute terms will be published before launch.
Prohibited conduct
Do not misrepresent your identity, harass other students, break school rules or arrange prohibited tasks. Follow the Community Guidelines.

Changes
